Two Drifters - from the beginning
Drifter stories usually feature the countryside, and this was exactly where the two drifters, Konstantin Ferstl and Christoph Zirngibl, were born. For
quite some time they lived unaware of each other in two tiny Bavarian villages. When they first met by chance in early 1998 to work on a musical version of a poem by Bertolt Brecht, they didn’t know, that this was
the beginning of a musical collaboration and friendship, that still goes on until today. They started writing songs together and shortly afterwards formed their band “Two Drifters”. Many gigs and songs later, they
recorded their first album in 2002. Since 2004, their collaboration entered a new era: When Chris started his studies in filmscoring and Konstantin took up studying film directing, their partnership entered a new
phase. Ever since, they have worked on three film projects together, and there is more to come.
